Roze Bunker 's fruit butchers tackle problems in the food industry by using surplus fruit and fresh herbs for their syrups. By not adding water before transport, they reduce transport volume and plastic use in the soft drink industry. They started during the Dutch Design Week 2016 and developed soft drinks under the term 'Fruitslager'. They experiment with fruit scraps to create new products, work with Peelpioneers for citrus peels. Roze Bunker's Fruitslagers are changing the soft drink industry, promoting biodiversity, reducing food waste and shortening the food chain by seeing soft drinks as a solution for sustainability.
